Resolving a blank Family Groups screen

In MYOB Practice Manager (PM), the Family Groups is an additional feature that allows you to group related entities using a label rather than an actual client in the database. This allows you to group related clients in a far broader sense than simply for billing purposes.

You may find the heading under Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Client /Supplier > Family Groups (AE) or Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Client > Family Groups (AO) has been accidentally dragged off the page and the screen displays a blank page.


To resolve this issue you need to drag the field Family Group back into the column heading area. 

To reinstate the Family Group column heading
  1. In MYOB Practice Manager, go to Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Client /Supplier > Family Groups (AE) or Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Client > Family Groups (AO). The Maintenance - Family Groups window appears.
  2. Right click below the Maintenance - Family Groups tab and select Show Field Chooser.
    The Field Chooser box appears.
  3. Double click the Family Group field in the Field Chooser window to add the column heading back.
