This error may occur when viewing forms and reports in Corporate Compliance after upgrading to Superfund 2.12.04. The Crystal Reports XI component installed by Superfund 2.12.04 is a third party application and it removes some registry keys required by Corporate Compliance. You may also experience the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

To resolve either of these errors, you need to run a Repair for the Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .Net 2005 Server component in Add or Remove Programs from the Control Panel.

To repair the Crystal Reports

You need the Corporate Compliance 2.2 CD to complete the following repair process:

  1. Follow the menu path: Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. The Add or Remove Programs window is displayed.

  2. Select the CrystalReports XI Release 2 .Net 2005 Server component then click Change. The CrystalReports XI Release 2 .Net 2005 Server Setup window is displayed.

  3. Select the Repair option and click Next. The Ready to Repair the Application window is displayed.

  4. Click Next to begin the repair process. Features start to install. After a few seconds, the message "Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .Net 2005 has been successfully installed" displays.

  5. Click Finish. The component is repaired. You can now view ASIC forms and reports without experiencing these errors.
