Running a resync with VizPost

This support note applies to:

  • AE Practice Manager (NZ)

You may need to run a resync of VizPost if your CDS integration has not been running for a while and it appears that some changes in AE Practice Manager (AE PM) have not updated in AE Tax.

To run a resync, you must be on the AE PM server under the Menu options of Start > All Programs > Solution 6 or MYOB > Resync Viztopia to CDS.  Once this screen opens, select the Start button.

If the server name shows Local, change it to your actual server name.

For the resync routine to complete successfully, you will need to ensure that the System Release DAL (SR DAL) is running and the Run CDS Vizpost routine is active on the server.

It would also be advisable to have all employees logged out of AE PM, CDS and AE Tax whilst the routine runs.
