This issue is mainly found on Office 2003 site but also known to happen on Office 2007 and 2010 sites also.
Sometimes can occur after a reinstall of the Practice Manager workstation client.
Only the 3 files below will be present in the (for 64 bit sites) C:\Program Files (x86)\MYOB\VPMSaveContactAddIn or (for 32 bit sites) C:\Program Files\MYOB\VPMSaveContactAddIn folder.
To fix the issue, ensure the following:
- Files a present in the myob\VPMSaveContactAddin and are the same version as those in the Deploy folder.
- That the 'Load Behaviour in either of the following 2 registry keys is set to 3:
Create a .bat in the myob\VPMSaveContactAddin containing the following:
- C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\regasm.exe /codebase VPMSaveWithContactAddin.dll
Using the Task Manager, ensure that there are NO office applications running (e.g. Winword.exe Excel.exe or Outlook.exe) If so, close the application by hitting End Process.
Run the .bat file from within the VPMSaveContact folder.
Retry the Save With Contact menu options and test.
