Searching for certain documents within a client

This support note applies to:

  • AE Document Manager (NZ)

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Document Manager (AE DM) when searching for a particular document, no results are displayed.

This is because the default number of months for documents to display is currently 18 months. 

To resolve this issue you can change the number of months which then allows you to search for older documents.

To change the default number of months

  1. Follow the menu path: Maintenance > Documents > Document Manager Setup > Contact Documents Defaults tab.

  2. In the Months field enter the number of months that you want to have appear. The default number of months is edited.

    You can specify a number of months between 6 and 120.

  3. Click Finish.

    This is a global setting and it will affect all users.
