In MYOB Tax, you can specify which type of tax estimate that appears when generating a one-click estimate.  For example, when you press F4 to generate an estimate you can choose to have either a detailed estimate instead of a basic taxation estimate included.

To customize which estimate is included when you press F4, select the Detailed estimate option in the User Printing Options in the Control Record.

To specify the type of tax estimate
  1. Open any tax return for the required year and follow the menu path: Preparation > Calculation > What if.
  2. From the Utilities menu select Control Record and go to the Default tab.

If the Enter Master Password window appears, type your password and press ENTER. The default password is ASSERT.

  3. Untick Enable one click estimate.

  4. Click the required options in the User Printing Options section and click OK; for example, if you want the detailed tax estimate to display, select the Detailed estimate option. Your preferences are configured

These options control the preferences here for when you press F4.

  5. Click OK. The Calculations window appears.
  6. Press Esc. The return appears.  The tax estimate that appears when generating a one-click estimate is specified.
