Setting up, changing and removing the trust ledger password in AO General Ledger.

Following is information regarding how to set up a password for a trust ledger and how to change the password or remove it completely.

To set up or change the password
  1. Start MYOB Accountants Office and open the Trust Ledger module.
  2. From the Select Ledger drop-down list, select the relevant ledger and click Open.
  3. From the Trust Ledger menu, select Change Trust Ledger Password. The Change Ledger Password window appears.
  4. Complete the details in the Change Ledger Password window and click OK.

Each time you open the trust ledger, you will need to enter the password in the Password field of the Select Trust Ledger window. Otherwise, a message, "Invalid Password" appears.

To remove the password
  1. To remove the password, follow steps one to four above to access the Change Trust Ledger Password window and enter the current password in the Current Password field.
  2. Leave the other fields blank and click OK. A message stating that the password has been cleared appears.
  3. Click OK to close the message.
