Things to note when reinstalling MYOB PDF Manager

When uninstalling and reinstalling MYOB PDF Manager please note that all data (documents) that appear in PDF Manager at present need to be cleared off or saved to a network location before uninstall. Also the user settings that the user has setup in the Tools > Options area will be lost. These include Save with settings, Watch folder settings, Document Security Settings, and the like.

To clear the temporary files on the workstation, click Start > Run, type in %appdata% and press OK.  Open the PDF Manager folder once it displays and clear all the files displaying within the Temp, Working and RecycleBin folders. Alternatively you can save the files to a network location before clearing.

PDF Manager uses the following location to store data temporarily which the users can view on the different tabs that appear on PDF Manager.

  1. C:\Documents and Settings\<UserLogin>\Application Data\PDF Manager\RecycleBin
  2. C:\Documents and Settings\<UserLogin>\Application Data\PDF Manager\Temp
  3. C:\Documents and Settings\<UserLogin>\Application Data\PDF Manager\Working

As these temporary locations are not included in any backups, if the data is lost (when the software is uninstalled) it is impossible to recover it. 

If you are attempting an UPGRADE to the latest version, it will retain the data and all the user settings.
