In MYOB Accountants Office or Payroll on a Windows 7 64-bit workstation, when you click To PDF in the Print Preview screen the process hangs and does not complete and you may also experience the error "Print Error - 30".
By default, the MYOB AO PDF Generator printer driver uses the LPT1 port.To be able to export successfully to PDF, create a new port called NUL, and amend the MYOB AO PDF Generator printer properties to use the NUL port.
To update the PDF Generator printer details

Click the Start button and select Devices and Printers. The Devices and Printers window opens.

Right-click the "MYOB AO PDF Generator" printer, and select Printer Properties. The Printer Properties window opens.

Click the Ports tab. The port details show as using LPT1.

Click Add Port... The Printer Ports box opens.

Select Local Port, and click New Port... The Port Name window opens.

Type NUL as the port name and click OK. The Port Name box closes and a new port called NUL is added, and selected for this printer driver.

Click OK. The Properties window closes.

Restart the workstation.
When you open MYOB Accountants Office or Payroll - as applicable, you are now able to print a report to a PDF file using the 'To PDF' button.
