This support note applies to:

In MYOB Tax when validating a tax return you may experience the error V17: "Agent contact name is missing (Front Cover)".
To successfully validate this return, enter the relevant Contact Name for the selected agent in the Control Record.
- Open the tax return and from the Utilities menu select Control Record.
- Click the Names tab and complete all the details for Agent and Contact.
- Click OK..
If there are multiple agents, ensure all details are filled in following menu path Maintenance > Agents > Properties.
