Confirm Lodgment details dialog

Before preparing an Amendment, necessary functions have to be performed for the Return to be amended. The status indicates the progress of the return:

• Lodged
• Sent to the ATO electronically or via paper
• Validated by the ATO electronically

Lodged

When selected this checkbox indicates that the status of the return is Lodged. If the return was lodged from your Tax Ledger via PLS and the Validation report opened and read, this box will already be selected.

If you weren't the lodging agent for the original return and are amending one previously lodged by another Agent, you can update the status to lodged manually and select the Lodged box.

Sent to the ATO electronically

If the return was lodged from your Tax Ledger via PLS and the Validation report opened and read, this box will already be ticked.

If you weren't the lodging agent for the original return and are lodging an amendment to it, you can select this box.

Validated by the ATO electronically

If you lodged the return via PLS and read the Validation report, this box will be selected automatically. If you did not lodge the original return and are now lodging an amendment to it, you can select this box.

The system has detected that the return has not been printed: Print Return

This checkbox is provided as a reminder only in case you want to to store a print-out electronically. Printing hard copies of returns that are lodged via PLS is at your discretion.
