Tax-free Threshold

The Tax-free Threshold screen displays the revised Tax-free threshold for the taxpayer either commencing residency or ceasing to be resident for income tax purposes. It is also used for students who are first entering the tax system at a time other than 1 July of the income year under review. Click the Residency button and select the appropriate option and enter the relevant date. MYOB Tax will calculate the number of months and on closing this dialog will recalculate the tax-free threshold. Refer to Reduced Tax-free Threshold.
