The screen is used for entering any lump sum payments received by a taxpayer for any unused annual leave and unused long service leave when their employment was terminated.

Lump Sums Marked "A": Enter the amount of the lump sum payment received by a taxpayer for unused long service leave that accrued after 15 August 1978, or for unused annual leave.

Lump Sums Marked "B": Enter the amount of the lump sum payment received by a taxpayer for unused long service leave that accumulated before 16 August 1978. Only five per cent of this amount is taxable. Five per cent of the amount marked "B" is displayed.
