Practice Notes Overview

Practice notes are used for copying to return or schedule notes to support claims and statements made in returns. Tax provides a library of these master notes, updated each year to cater for individual legislative requirements, and which may be transferred to practice notes.

When adding a note to a return at an item which is catered for by a standard practice note, the Practice Note Index is displayed at the correct position for quick selection for copying into the return.

When you have transferred a Master Note, it becomes a Practice Note and can be edited. Practice Notes are available for all return types in your Tax ledger.
