Preparing tax returns

Tax returns are prepared using the MYOB AE Tax Return System and the MYOB AO Classic Return Preparation module. You can access this within MYOB AE/AO from any of the following areas:

Find Tax Clients page
Tax Notices page
IRD Data page
Tax Manager window.

To open the tax return

To open for a client from the Find Tax Clients, Tax Notices or IRD Data page:

1. Click the Return Name for the required client, or
2. Select the required client and, on the TASKS bar, click Return preparation.

To open the tax return from the Tax Manager window, on the TASKS bar, click Return preparation.
