Deleting former names of people
Corporate Compliance and Corporate Admin will be retired on 31 March 2024.
You won't be able to use either software after 31 March 2024.
Learn what this means for you
You can delete a person’s former names from the Name history screen. Former names can also be added or changed using this screen (see Adding former names or Changing former names).
How to delete former names
- Select and open the person. See Selecting people. The Details tab opens.
- Click the Name History tab. The Name History screen opens.
- Select the name you want to delete.
- Click Delete former name on the Task Bar, or right-click the name and select Delete former name from the menu. A message box asks if you are sure you want to delete this name from the history.
- Click OK. The former name is deleted from the Name history screen.
