Inserting links to managed documents

A link to another Document Manager document can be inserted in a Microsoft Word document or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. This will open the document in a new window.


To insert a link to a Document Manager document
  1. Open the document or spreadsheet.

  2. Place the cursor where you want to insert the link.

  3. Click 

    on the Document Manager toolbar. The Search for a document window opens.

  4. Use the Search Criteria fields to locate the document to be linked.

  5. Select the document from the list.

  6. Click OK. The link will appear in your document or spreadsheet.
