Create report styles
Client Accounting has pre-configured report bundles to help create your styles and layouts for your financial reports. These bundle styles can be applied when generating a financial report.
This will make sure that your practice maintains a consistent style across all reports.
These styles are created at the practice level and can be applied to all your clients when generating reports.
Default report
Only your administrators can modify or create your style bundles.
In Client Accounting, we have created a default style for you.

We recommend copying the default style and using it as a starting point to create the style that best suits your practice.

There are 2 settings when customising a report:
Style settings:
You can modify and customise the report bundles to add Style settings. This allows you to choose your logos, cover page, last page cover page etc.Content settings:
It’s best not to change any of the Content setting, like the Income Statement or Balance Sheet as we have configured it for you.
After you’ve set up the style, any user can apply it when creating a report for your client.
Style settings
In the Default style report, select Copy style from the Actions menu.
Click Style settings.
Give the report a name with your practice’s name.
There are 4 sections in the Style settings. Most of these settings are easy to understand, and you can accept the default choices for a lot of them.
Don’t change anything in the Liquid section as it can break your reports.
General: Here you can choose your logos and any cover or title pages you want to add to your reports. The options are self-explanatory.
If you don’t want to use this style when generating a report, unselect Can be selected on client file option.
Layout: Most important section for styling. Here you can choose the font, font size etc. Everything that makes your report look like your Practice’s brand.
Reports and chart: Here you can choose the colours of the charts in your reports (The charts are not available yet)
Liquid: (Do not change anything in the section).

Content setting
We have configured the content settings for you. This setting will determine what gets printed including any notes and paragraphs. You can accept the default settings and don’t need to make any changes.

Using the style when generating the report
You can use the new style when creating a new export (generating a report).
Go to Exports
From Choose a bundle drop-down, select the report that you’ve created.
select Generate export.
