Syncing a cloud based ledger
You can synchronise the data from a source ledger (MYOB / Xero / Quickbooks) to a client file. After syncing the ledger, any changes made to the source ledger will automatically synchronise overnight into the Client Accounting client file.
You can sync a file:
Syncing a MYOB Business file
You can easily sync a MYOB Business file to an existing client in MYOB Practice. Once the file is synced, you can start working on the file in Client Accounting.
Syncing a file when linking the client for the first time
Click Setup automatic sync.
In the Sync settings window, scroll down to Existing sync and select MYOB Business Sync.
Once you’ve setup the sync, select the ledger at Sync reference drop-down to be connected with this client. Select Save changes.
Sync a XERO or Quickbooks file
Click Setup automatic sync.
In the Sync settings window, select Link with Quickbooks connection or Link with Xero connection.
Select Save and Continue. You will be redirected to the accounting software's login page.
Log in using the credentials of a user with access to the file.
Syncing a file for an existing client
If you want to update an already-linked client in Client Accounting,
Open the client, go to the Client Overview page and select Edit client.
Go to the Sync tab and select Setup Sync.
In the Synchronisation scenarios window, select either updating from manual sync to automatic sync or changing the existing automatic sync.
Follow the prompts in the next window to setup the sync.
