Allocating and deallocating receipts

Receipts can remain unallocated until you've processed a bill to offset the receipt.

Allocate and deallocate receipts
  1. Select the Processing menu and choose Receipt Allocations.

  2. Select the Client and Receipt No. you want to allocate or deallocate.

  3. To allocate:

    1. Click the edit button (A pencil icon) in the Receipt Detail section.

    2. Click the invoice drop-down and select the invoice the receipt belongs to.

    3. Click the save button (save icon).

  4. To deallocate:

    1. Click Deallocate.

    2. To reverse the receipt, select the Processing menu and choose Receipts.

    3. Click New Batch and select the Client.

    4. In the New Receipt Item section, select the unallocated receipt from the Invoice drop-down.

    5. Click the save button (save icon).

    6. To reissue the receipt, select the Processing menu and choose Receipts, and use the Submit and Post options.
