Changing an employee's password

You can change your login password (or that of another employee, if you have permission to do so) to the system from the Employee page.

If your practice has activated MYOB Logins, then the Change Password option on the Tasks bar is not available.

To change an employee’s password
  1. Find and open the employee. See Finding and opening employee records. The Employee page opens on the Main tab by default.

  2. Click Change Password on the Tasks bar. The Change Employee Password window opens.

  3. Enter the new password in both the Enter new password and Confirm new password fields.

    Take care to type the same string in each field.
  4. Click OK. The password is changed.

  5. Click OK to save and close the Employee page.
