Merging contact records from Microsoft Outlook

You can merge your database contacts with your Microsoft Outlook contacts using the Merge Contacts — Outlook to MYOB menu option available in Microsoft Outlook. You can also define which changed contact records are merged from Microsoft Outlook into the database.

For Microsoft Outlook 2010, the Merge Contacts menu option is on the Add-Ins ribbon.

Once you have specified the Contacts folder you want the database contact details merged into, you will see a selection form to select with the changed contact records you want to merge from Microsoft Outlook. By default, all changed contact records are merged unless you click the checkbox in the Merge column to deselect a contact. When you have selected the contacts to merge and specified your log file, click Merge. Your contacts are merged into your database. A confirmation message is displayed when the merge is completed.
