Use Maintenance > Maintenance Map (AO) > Employee > Time Units to add and maintain various time units that are available to users on the Timesheets window.
To set up or edit a time unit
Select Maintenance > Employee > Time Units on the main menu (AE) or Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Employee > TimeUnits. The Maintenance — Time Units page opens.
Enter the Description (e.g., 5 minutes, 30 minutes, etc.) in the first blank row at the top of the table. Overtype the Description text if necessary.
Enter the value (in minutes to indicate how many units have to be accounted for each day) in the Value column. Overtype the Value text if necessary.
Press [Enter] to add more Time Units.
Click OK to save the changes and close the Maintenance — Time Units page.
To delete a time unit
Select Maintenance > Employee > Time Units on the main menu (AE) or Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Employee > TimeUnits. The Maintenance — Time Units page opens.
Click the row containing the time unit you want to delete. Click
to highlight the entire row.
Press [Delete]. A Confirm Delete message is displayed.
Click Yes. The Time Unit is deleted.
Click OK to save the changes and close the Maintenance — Time Units page.
