Transferring WIP on jobs and schedules (AE)

Accountants Enterprise with Practice Manager only

The WIP Journal functionality enables you transfer WIP from jobs and schedules.

The transfer of WIP depends on the job mode set up by the practice. The general rules are:

  • WIP can be transferred from one assignment to another once the entry is posted.

  • Billed or partially billed entries cannot be transferred.

Specific rules depend on the job mode.
