What are the changes?

After you’ve installed AE/AO version 2024.0, you can no longer create new activity statements in AE/AO. You can still prepare and lodge any existing activity statements (that are In progress status).

Start using MYOB Practice BAS to prepare and lodge your activity statement.

Is supporting ending for Activity statements in AE/AO?

No, you can

amend and lodge existing activity statements
create, complete and lodge any activity statements up to the April-Jun 2024 quarter.

What is MYOB Practice BAS?

MYOB Practice BAS is the online solution to your activity statement workflows.

Use your existing client data, import from your client files, and save time and effort on your activity statement workflows.

What is the workflow change in MYOB Practice BAS?

Most of the workflow remains the same as AE/AO except you’ll have a few more steps when validating, sending for review and lodging.

Can I view lodgement progress of activity statements across AE/AO and Practice BAS?

In AE/AO, you can view the Practice activity statement, which is indicated with a cloud icon.
Activity statements on AE/AO will not be listed in MYOB Practice.

How do I move online?

Use our onboarding guide and start using MYOB Practice BAS.

Is Practice BAS integrated with Nimbus or AE/AO Document Manager?

For integration with AE/AO Document Manager, see Page 9 in our onboarding guide.

Practice BAS is not integrated with Nimbus.

Where do I manage my clients contact details if I’m working both online and desktop?

For now, you’ll need to add or edit any client details in AE/AO, and it will sync into MYOB Practice.

Can I use the ATO Online Services for Agents?

Yes, you can, but practices find MYOB Practice BAS has a better experience than what the ATO provides.
