This support note applies to:

In MYOB Tax, if you have completed a return or a form and it does not appear in the Tag for Lodgment (otherwise known as the ELS tag status window) or Lodgment Manager screens, this will be because the return or form is marked for manual lodgment via paper.
This can occur especially if you have recently refreshed the lodgment status of the return and have not updated the Return Properties to say that you want to lodge the return or form electronically.
These instructions will step you through resetting the properties of the return or form to enable electronic lodgment. This will then allow the return or form to appear and be tagged in the ELS tag status window.
As the return or form will already have cleared the validation check and is marked as Complete, to resolve this issue you'll need to update your lodgment preference ("Return lodged via" field) in the return properties.
- Open the return and click the Edit Completed Form icon. The form is flagged as Incomplete and the return status is set to In Progress.
- Click the Properties icon. The Return Properties window opens displaying the General tab.
Click the ellipses button () at the Return Lodged via field. The Select Method window appears.If the Return Lodged via field is greyed out and you are unable to select code E, you will need to reset the lodgment history.
Highlight code E click Select. The lodgment preference changes to E - Electronic Return.
- Click OK. The changes in the Return Properties are saved and you're returned to the Tax return screen.
- Click the Validate (F3) and click Complete. The return is completed and will now appear in the Lodgment Manager and/or tag for lodgment window.
