Error: "26" and "4122" when opening or using Contacts or Client Compliance

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) you may experience "Environment Error 26" and "Environment Error 4122" when opening or using Contacts or Client Compliance.
This error can occur when the network connection to the server hosting the Contacts or Client Compliance program files is dropping packets. That is, packets of data are being lost across the network from the server to workstation or vice versa.
To fix these errors, you need to consult with your IT Professional to ensure the network connectivity between all of the affected machines and the server is not suffering from packet loss.
Check the following
If this is occurring before you connect on one workstation, ensure that the ceedata.ini file is correct as per Copying the ceedata.ini file from one workstation to another.
Ensure that the drive mappings listed in the ceedata.ini file all appear and are fully functional. If you require assistance with this you will need to contact your IT Professional.
If the issue persists
Disable opportunistic locking as per Turning off opportunistic locking.
