Error: "Could not load the DLL Viz2CDS.dll, or one of the DLLs it references. Reason: 193"

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) when creating a new client you may receive the following error:

"Failed to create new entity
Solution6.vpm.client.clientframework.frmwizard
Solution.vpm.businesslogic.sqlremoteexception
Could not load the DLL Viz2CDS.dll, or one of the DLLs it references. Reason: 193(%1 is not a valid Win32 application)".

This error can occur after upgrading an existing instance of SQL to a later version. As a result, the Viz2CDS.dll file is not able to be located after the SQL instance has been upgraded.

To fix the issue

To fix the issue you will need to reinstall VizCDS19.exe and run the grant.sql script against the Practice Manager database, for example, VPMSER. For details refer to Re-installing CDS integration
