Error: "Error 1304. Error writing to file X:\MYOB\bin\SaveWithContact.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory" when upgrading

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Tax you may experience "Error 1304. Error writing to file X:\MYOB\bin\SaveWithContact.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory" when performing an upgrade.

This error occurs if the specified DLL file is still in use during the upgrade.

The SaveWithContact.dll is a MYOB DLL file related to Contacts that is usually running in the background even when all users are out of Contacts. To perform an upgrade of the MYOB software, you need to stop this file from running on the server where you are installing the upgrade.

To close the SaveWithContact.dll file
