Error: "ErrorMessage: The remote name could not be resolved: 'secure.myob.com'" when using PLS (CloudAUTH)

In MYOB Tax when using PLS (CloudAUTH) to lodge you may experience the error "ErrorMessage: The remote name could not be resolved: 'secure.myob.com'".

This error can occur in the MYOB event log where there is an issue with one of the employees users access to my.MYOB login token.

To resolve this error perform the following steps:

How to refresh MYOB login for PLS (CloudAUTH) Authentication
  1. In MYOB AE/AO navigate to Contacts > Open > Employees. The Find Employees window opens.
  2. Click Search to display all employees and then double click on the employee. The employee record opens.
  3. From the Tasks bar select Edit my.MYOB details. The Edit MYOB Login opens.
  4. Remove the MYOB Login details and select OK.
  5. From the Tasks bar select Edit my.MYOB details. The Edit MYOB Login opens.
  6. Add back the my.MYOB Login details and click OK.
  7. Restart the SBR Sender Service. For details refer to Restarting the MYOB Tax SBR Sender Server
