Error: "Ledger has x active session/s"

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) MAS you may experience the error "Ledger has x active session/s" or "Selected ledger is currently in use" when System Release recognises a user as currently accessing a AE MAS ledger.

Some functions in AE MAS, including performing a backup of a AE MAS ledger require exclusive access. When there is an active session, System Release cannot establish the required exclusive access to allow you to perform the specific function. Ledgers may appear to have an active session when in fact they do not, this may occur when MYOB product is not closed properly.
