This error will prevent you from importing transactions from a MYOB transaction extract file (MYE).
The TEMP\CA directory requires to be recreated. To recreate this directory please follow the steps below. MYOB is investigating this issue.
If the error is: C:\Documents~1\<user>\LocalS~1\Temp\<1>\CA\<filename>
- Left-click on Start and select My Computer. The My Computer window opens.
- Double-click on Local Disk (C:). The contents of the C drive opens.
- Navigate to and open your Temp folder. For example, C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp. The contents of the Temp folder appear.
- Select the <1> folder and right-click and delete it and its contents. The <1> folder and its contents are deleted.
- Select File from the File menu, click on New and select Folder. A new folder is created called New Folder.
- Right-click on New Folder and select Rename. Rename the folder to the name of it in the error, in this case it is 1 and press the Enter key.
- Double-click into the <1> folder to open. The <1> folder opens.
- Select File from the File menu, click on New and select Folder. A new folder is created called New Folder.
- Right-click on New Folder and select Rename. Rename the folder to CA and press the Enter key.
- Close the window by selecting the X in the top right of the window. The window closes.
Double-click into the MYE file to import.
For Windows 7
If the error is: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\CA\<filename>
- Left-click on Start and select Computer. The Windows Explorer window opens.
- Double-click on Local Disk (C:). The contents of the C drive opens.
- Navigate to and open your Temp folder. For example, C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp. The contents of the Temp folder appear.
- Select the CA folder (if it exists) and right-click and Delete. The CA folder is deleted.
- Select File from the File menu, click on New and select Folder. A new folder is created called New Folder.
- Right-click on New Folder and select Rename. Rename the folder to CA and press the Enter key.
- Close the window by selecting the X in the top right of the window. The window closes.
Double-click into MYE file to import.
If the error is: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\<1>\CA\<filename>
- Left-click on Start and select Computer. The window opens.

- Select File from the File menu, click on New and select Folder. A new folder is created called New Folder.
- Right-click on New Folder and select Rename. Rename the folder to CA and press the Enter key.
- Close the window by selecting the X in the top right of the window. The window closes.
Double-click into the MYE file to import.
