Error: "Problem initialising database" when opening Datasafe

In MYOB Contacts you may experience the error "Problem initialising database" when attempting to open the Datasafe module.

To fix this error run a full workstation installation. For details refer to Running a Contacts or Client Compliance workstation setup.


It appears that running setup.exe alone does not clear the error, nor a full install from CD or copying a ceedata.ini from a machine or server not experiencing the error.

Another symptom found on current jobs logged is linkfix.exe wont run on the affected workstation. In HEAT job 2211431, the TS was receiving 8800 but SBS was not.
