In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Document Manager (DM) the following error "Save and Convert: Call was rejected by callee. (Exception from HRESULT: 0X80010001 (RPC_E_CALL_REJECTED))" may appear when opening Word documents.
This error occurs if you have both the Document Manager and Save with Contact add-in activated in Word.
To resolve this error you will need to remove both add-ins and then add back, Document Manager Word only.
To remove the save with contact add-in
Perform the following instructions from within Microsoft Word:
Click the File/Office button. The drop down list appears. Note: The File/Office button is located on the left top corner of the application.
Select Options. The Options window appears. Note: Options is located at the right bottom corner of the popup screen near Exit button.
Select Add-ins from the left hand side. The Add-ins detail appears in the right hand pane. Note: You will see MYOB Document Manager Word/Excel/Outlook Add-in the list. If it is not appearing in the list refer to Buttons missing from Document Manager toolbar - From Manage, select Com Add-ins and click Go. The Com Add-in window opens.
- De-select MYOB Document Manager Word and SaveWithContact then click OK. The window closes.
- Close and reopen Word. Microsoft Word opens.
- Click the File/Office button on the left top corner of the application. The drop down list appears.
- Select Options. The Options window appears.
- Select Add-ins from the left hand side. The Add-ins detail appears in the right hand pane. Note: You will see MYOB Document Manager Word/Excel/Outlook Add-in the list. If the list does not appear, refer to Buttons missing from Document Manager toolbar
- From Manage, select Com Add-ins and click Go. The Com Add-in window opens.
- Select MYOB Document Manager Word only and click OK. The window closes and the DM toolbar displays.
You will now be able to open and close documents without error.
