Error: "Unable to retrieve Software ID"
This support note applies to:

In MYOB Tax when attempting to open Tax Lodgment Manager you may experience the error "Unable to retrieve Software ID" when retrieving your Software ID.
This issue can be caused by a couple of scenarios:

This is the first time Tax Lodgment Manager has been used.

MYOB software is unable to contact the MYOB PLS server | Configuring your Firewall or Proxy for MYOB AE/AO |
The install of MYOB recently to enable lodgment manager was not successful. | Run a repair or contact us. |
