Exporting transactions from MYOB AccountRight to import into MAS
This support note applies to:
- AE MAS (AU)
MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) MAS allows you to import transactions easily from a number of different sources including the MYOB small business products such as AccountRight and AccountRight Classic (v19).
The following process will guide you through exporting transactions out of MYOB AccountRight to enable a successful import of these transactions in MAS.
Open the AccountRight file and follow the menu path: File > AccountantLink > Send to MYOB Accountants Office. The Reporting Period window appears.
If you are using AccountRight Classic (v19), follow the menu path File > AccountantLink > Send to Accountant.
Select the month or range of months you want to export. To select a range of months, click and hold the mouse button on the first required month and then drag the cursor over the names of the remaining months.
In the Information required field, select Financial Only.
- At the top of the window, click Disk. The Save As window appears.
- Enter a name and location for saving the export file. The default file name is <CompanyName>.MYE. You can change the file name if you want but you must retain the .MYE extension. A .zip file of the reports is also saved.
- Click Save. The *.MYE file is saved to your nominated directory.
