Giving an employee permission to lodge

When using PLS to lodge in MYOB Tax, you may need to give an employee or a security group permissions to lodge. You can do this by updating task permissions.

In addition to the task permissions, ensure that the agent has sufficient permissions within ATO Access Manager. For details, see Updating permissions in ATO Access Manager
To update the PLS task permissions
  1. Go to Maintenance > Security > Task Permissions. The Maintenance - Task Permissions window appears.
  2. From the Product drop-down list, select Tax.
  3. From the Group drop-down list, select the security group for amending permissions. The Tax Permissions appear in the table.
  4. Click [+] Maintenance and select Tax - Ready to lodge and Tax - Lodge.
  5. Click OK.
