Installing System Release on a workstation

This support note applies to:

  • AE System Release (NZ)
  • AE System Release (AU)

If you cannot find the setup file referenced in the KB, you may be using the combined installer for MYOB Accountants Enterprise. If this is the case, please refer to Running a combined workstation installation or uninstallation for Accountants Enterprise
To run the workstation install
  1. From the Start menu, select Run. The Run window appears.
  2. In the Open field, type E:\sol64\setup\Workstation Setup\setup.exe and press ENTER, where E: is the drive for your system release files. The Welcome window appears.
  3. Click Yes. The Licence Agreement window appears.
  4. Read the Licence Agreement and click Yes to indicate that you accept the terms of the Agreement. The licence agreement is accepted.
  5. Select the directory where your System Release Server Components are installed and then click Next to continue. The Ready to install window appears.
  6. Click Next to install the files. The relevant files are installed to your workstation and on completion, the Installation Complete window appears.
  7. Click Finish to complete the Workstation Setup. The Workstation Setup is completed.
