PDF Manager and Adobe reader (64-bit) compatibility

This support note applies to:

• PDF Manager (AU)
• PDF Manager (NZ)

Adobe Reader 32-bit is a pre-requisite for installing MYOB PDF Manager. So you'll not be able to install PDF Manager on a workstation/computer that has Adobe Reader 64-bit version.

What happens when you try to install PDF Manager on a machine that has Adobe Reader 64-bit version?

You'll not be able to continue to the install at Locate Adobe Reader step as the install will be looking for a 32-bit exe file (AcroRd.32.exe). Since this file is not available in a 64-bit version, the install will not continue

Workaround

Uninstall Adobe Reader 64-bit and install Adobe Reader 32-bit and then install MYOB PDF Manager.
