Prompt: "Do you want to save the changes to <Template name>.dot"

In MYOB Document Manager (DM) you may experience the message Do you want to save the changes to <Template name>.dot when previewing a draft bill and then closing the draft bill. When you choose Yes/No, another prompt appears "Do you want to save the changes to <Template name>.dot?"

This error can occur if you have both the Document Manager and Save with Contact add-in activated in Word.

To resolve this error you will need to remove the Save with Contact add-in.

To remove the Save With Contact add-in

In Microsoft Word perform the following steps:

Click the File/Office button on the left top corner of the application.
Select Options (right bottom corner of the popup screen near Exit button).
Select Add-ins from the left hand side.

You will see MYOB Document Manager Word/Excel/Outlook Add-in the list, if not refer to

From Manage, select Com Add-ins and click Go.
De-select MYOB Document Manager Word and SaveWithContact and click OK.
Close and reopen Word.
Click the File/Office button on the left top corner of the application.
Select Options (right bottom corner of the popup screen near Exit button).
Select Add-ins from the left hand side.

You will see MYOB Document Manager Word/Excel/Outlook Add-in the list, if not refer to

From Manage, select Com Add-ins and click Go.
Select MYOB Document Manager Word only and click OK.
You are now be able to open and close Draft bills without error.
