In MYOB Portal you may be required to resend an invitation to your client to sign up and access the Portal.

This may occur where your client hasn't received the invitation email because, for example, the email has been blocked or filtered by spam software, or where the invitation has been sent to the incorrect address.

To provide your client access to the Portal you can:

  1. Send the invitation again by deleting and re-adding the user or contributor to the Portal
    or
  2. The user or contributor can sign up directly from your Practice Portal webpage.
To resend the invitation to the portal
  1. From within MYOB AE/AO, click the Live cloud icon (
) to open the MYOB Portal. Your default web browser opens to http://partner.myob.com.
  2. Navigate to your client's portal from within Clients > Portals.
  3. How do I delete users or contributors in the MYOB Portal? from the Portal.
  4. Ensure there's still at least one user in the Portal.

If there's no user, add yourself. After updating, you can remove yourself if needed.
  5. Click Update.
  6. If you added yourself to the Portal so that you could update, if needed, delete yourself from the Portal when the update's completed.
  7. Re-add the user or contributor to the portal:
    • To add a Full access user, click +Add full access user and type the user's name in the text field.
    • To add a Contributor user, click + Add contributor and type your user's name in the text field.
  8. Select the user or contributor from the dropdown list. The invitee is added to the list of users or contributors in the Portal.
  9. Click Update. An email invitation is send to the user or contributor's email address.
To locate the Practice Portal address

Your client does not need an invitation to sign up to the Portal as they can simply open a web browser, navigate to your Practice Portal web address and click Sign Up. To locate your Practice Portal's web address:

  1. From within MYOB AE/AO, click the Live cloud icon (
) to open the MYOB Portal. Your default web browser opens to http://partner.myob.com.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to your name in the top right-hand corner of the purple bar and select Settings. The Portal Settings - General Settings page is displayed.

The Practice Portal web address appears under Portal Subdomain (for example, mypractice.portal.accountants). Provide this address to your client to sign up and access the MYOB Portal.
