If you use Contacts to access MYOB Accountants Enterprise Tax, you can restore your data using Datasafe. Datasafe only lets you restore via the SQL server, not a workstation.
Before you begin
Make sure all users have exited all MYOB software.
- To restore a backup for another database, select the database that you want to restore.
- In Windows, go to Start > Programs > MYOB Accountants Enterprise > Datasafe. The Datasafe Utilities window appears.
- In the Current online backups section, select the backup that you want to restore.
- Click Restore. The Database Restore window appears.
Ensure the Restore full database option is selected and click OK. The Database Restore window appears while the data gets restored.
