Running month-end reports

This support note applies to:

  • AE Practice Manager (NZ)

  • AE Practice Manager (AU)

MYOB Practice Manager has a standard set of reports that you can run at the end of each month. You can run this standard set of reports, customise them or create your own set of standard reports.

To run the standard sets of reports

  1. Log in to MYOB Practice Manager.

  2. Click the down arrow below the Reports icon and select Favourites.

  3. Under the Report Group, click [+]. Practice Favourites Report Sets expands.

  4. If the reports are not already displayed, under the Report Set, click [+]. Month End Reports expands.

  5. When the Month End Reports are highlighted, click Run reports from report set from the TASKS bar.

  6. From the Run Reports window, click Next.

  7. Select the required date range in the Start Date and End Date fields.

  8. Select either Preview reports or Print reports and click Finish. The report set is generated.

  9. Once the reports are generated, click the Close button.

 

If you have customised reports that you want to include, add the reports to the list. Refer to Report favourites

If you want to change the order of the reports, select the Move up or Move down buttons from the Run Reports window.

To run a report (AE/AO)

  1. Log in to MYOB Practice Manager.

  2. Click the down arrow below the Reports icon and select Favourites.

  3. Under the Report Group, click [+]. Practice Favourites Report Sets expands.

  4. If the reports are not already displayed, under the Report Set, click [+]. Month End Reports expands.

  5. When the Month End Reports are highlighted, click Run report from the TASKS bar.

  6. Select the required date range in the Start Date (if prompted) and End Date fields and apply any filters if prompted and required, then click OK.

  7. Review and then either select Print or Export to Excel and click Close.
