Running the Create user.sql script

If you are reading this article there's a good chance that you may be in a situation where you need to run the Create user.sql script. For example, this may be after a server migration and you have been referred here by another article, or on the guidance of MYOB Support.

Download the following Create user.sql script. You'll then need to run this script from within SQL Server Management Studio on the server hosting your data.

Before running any script, we recommend ensuring all users are logged out of all MYOB products and that you have a current backup of the database.
To run the Create User.sql script
  1. From SQL Server Management Studio, follow the menu path: File > Open > File.
  2. From the Open File screen, navigate to and select the script file then click Open.
  3. Select the relevant database from the Available databases drop-down list.
  4. Press F5 or click Execute.
