You may receive the error 'You do not have permission to access jobs' after clicking the Jobs icon.

This error happens when the security group has been not been given write access to jobs under Task Permissions.

We recommend only giving #Homepage #Job Sheet Bulk Write Access to System Administrators/administrators as this options allow staff to do a bulk change to all jobs in their homepage and this function should be used with caution.

To check the task permissions
  1. To make the changes, log into AE/AO as a Super User or Administrator.
  2. Select Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Security > Task Permissions.
  3. Select Practice Manager from Product drop down.
  4. Select the relevant Security Group from the Group drop down.
  5. Under Group Description > click
before Other to expand the section.
  6. Tick the Allow checkbox against #Homepage #Job Sheet Write Access and click OK.
  7. Users that need access will need to close and re-open AE/AO to see the changes.
