After changing an email address for an employee in my.myob.com.au and trying to update the email address for an employee in AE/AO via Edit my.MYOB details, you may receive the error: 'Your request to create a new my.MYOB user or associate an exisiting my.MYOB user with your practice was unsuccessful'.
Invalid user (-2)
This error occurs when the Practice on-line settings have not been updated to the current email address for the employee or a past employees email address is still registered under this area.
To resolve this issue, change the Practice online settings email address & then update the employee email address.
Refer to Editing an existing my.MYOB login for the correct process to change email addresses.
