Item 1 - Tax File Number (TFN)

In Practice Manager (AE) or MYOB Tax (AO), record the client’s TFN in the Create Client/Contact Wizard. These details are displayed on the client’s Main tab and prefill the Fund Details and Return Properties (AO) or Return Properties General tab (AE) for the return.

For Accountants Enterprise users:

• If you have Tax only, the TFN defaults from the Return Properties General tab.

• If you have Series 6 or 8, the client’s TFN is entered in the Contacts database and defaults to the tax return.
