If the taxpayer commenced or ceased business during the current year select the relevant code from the list at label C, otherwise, leave this item at zero (none applicable):

• Select Code 1 if the taxpayer ceased the business during the current year.
• Select Code 2 if the taxpayer commenced the business during the current year.
