Previewing and printing tax notices in a batch

You can use the Tax Notices page to preview and print one or more tax notices. This is useful when you want to print a batch of tax notices in one go.

Tax Manager determines the relevant tax notice template to use based on the status and content of each tax notice. The templates have been designed to:

  • include a Draft watermark if the tax notice has not been approved

  • print on the pre-printed IRD stationery.

Before you can preview or print a tax notice, you need to select it. You can:

  • select one or more tax notices by selecting the checkbox at the start of each relevant row. Selected rows will display a tick in the checkbox.

  • select all tax notices displayed in the list by selecting the checkbox in the heading row. All rows will display a tick in the checkbox.

Use the filter and grouping options to help you find the tax notices you want to print.

To preview the selected tax notices
  1. Depending on whether you want a detailed or summarised notice, on the TASKS bar, go to either:

    • Go to PREVIEW > Detailed notices

    • Go to PREVIEW > Summarised notices.

    The Tax Notices Preview window appears displaying the selected notices.

  2. To print the notices, click the tax notices print icon
    .
  3. Close the window.

To print the selected tax notices

Depending on whether you want a detailed or summarised notice, on the TASKS bar, go to either:

  • Go to PRINT > Detailed notices.
  • Go to PRINT > Summarised notices.
