Documents remain in my checked out location or changes made are not saving

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Document Manager (DM) a local copy of the DM documents remain in my checked out location after closing the document and the changes made to documents do not appear to be saving in the document.

This will occur when the document has not been auto-checked in.  

The auto-check in feature is controlled by the DM Toolbar which appears in Microsoft (MS) Outlook, Word and Excel. If the toolbar has been disabled you will need to re-enable it then open and close the document again for the document to be auto-checked in.

As PDF documents do not have DM Addins / toolbar within the application you use to open them, you will need to manually check in "In Progress" documents. However the documents with status "Complete" will not stay checked out when you close them but the local copy stays in your Checked Out location. You will need to manually delete the local copies from your Checked Out location.
